Francophone education is at the heart of our communities.

Francophone education is much more than a public service, it is at the heart of our Francophone communities. In our schools, with every interaction and every action taken by a Francophone education worker, we shape a collective future. Supporting French-language education means strengthening our communities, our province, and our cultures. Together, we are building a more resilient society, one child at a time.

Education is the foundation of our Franco-Ontarian communities.

To pass on the French language and the culture is to pass on a brighter future.

Stronger schools shape confident kids, and a more resilient society.

The future of Ontario starts in our classrooms.

French language education is a heritage worth protecting.

What we sow in our schools benefits everyone in our society.

    Changing lives with humility.

Behind every student journey, there’s a dedicated and devoted francophone education worker.

    Education is a team effort.

The work of every francophone education worker helps create environments where children can comfortably learn and grow.

Good working conditions make for a good learning environment.

When francophone education workers are well supported, children receive better support and achieve better outcomes

    Our unique union

AEFO represents roughly 12,500 members across 333 elementary schools, 15 intermediary schools, 110 secondary schools, and 16 other workplaces.

Together, we’re shaping the future of our communities, one child at a time.
